How we put your donation to work.

The American Packrafting Association (APA) is the only nonprofit dedicated exclusively to the packrafting community. We’re here because we believe in:

  • Empowering Packrafters: As the only group focused solely on packrafters’ needs, APA is dedicated to supporting and growing our unique community.
  • Safe Adventures: APA exists to promote safety and education, helping paddlers of all levels enjoy the sport and progress responsibly.
  • Securing Access to Public Lands: APA works hard to expand and protect access, advocating for packraft-friendly policies that keep wild places open for exploration.
  • Stewardship with a Packraft Lens: APA approaches stewardship with packrafters in mind, prioritizing sustainable practices that benefit both the community and the environment.
  • Fostering Connection: APA is the central space for packrafters to connect, learn, and advocate for the sport we love.
